Ashley Graham is a Nebraskan born. Her two younger sisters raised her, but she often faced bullying in school due to her large legs. Graham was identified as having ADHD shortly after graduating from elementary school. Graham was diagnosed with an attention deficit disorder (A.D.H.D.) soon after finishing the elementary school. Graham's talent was discovered at 12 by an agent when she was out going shopping in Nebraska. She appeared in publications and billboards prior to when she was able to graduate at Lincoln Southwest High School, in 2005. Graham had an unique physical form that made obtaining employment difficult when she first started. Graham was offered to be in catalogs for many years however she wasn't informed that her modeling career would go beyond those simple tasks. They were not right about the castings for session. However, her career took off swiftly. Sally Singer interviewed her for "Vogue's" 2007 issue, giving her the first opportunity to break into the industry. The year 2009 was the first time she appeared in the "Glamour Magazine" piece "These Bodies are Beautiful at Any Size". Graham became a media sensation when she was featured as a model in the controversial Lane Bryant commercial. The ad was later taken down in a number of countries. When the controversy spiraled, she appeared in the Jay Leno show "The Tonight Show". Graham quickly rose to fame and is today considered one of America's top model models of the plus size category. Grande began singing and acting in her early years as a kid. In 2008, she was awarded an acting role in the Broadway play 13 which she performed in, and soon was appearing in bits in television shows. The first time she got a big breakthrough in the year 2010, by appearing in Nickelodeon's television show Victorious. The show featured her as Cat Valentine a teenage girl who was attending a performance art school. Sam & Cat was the spin-off of her sitcom, which aired in 2013 after it was removed from the air.
