Keira Knightley
Knightley was born in London, born in London, the youngest daughter of Will Knightley and Sharman Mcdonald. She obtained her first agent when she was six years old and began working in television and commercials. In 1999, she played Sabe on Star Wars: Episode I: The Phantom Menace. She broke through in 2002's sports movie Bend It Like Beckham, where she portrayed an adult soccer player. In 2003, Elizabeth Swann, a swashbuckler in the fantasy series Pirates of the Caribbean became incredibly popular. In 2003, she was a star in the romance comedy Love Actually and was called promising teen. Because of her performance as Elizabeth Bennet in the period romance Pride & Prejudice (2005), Knightley was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actress. Alongside Atonement and Pride & Prejudice, she also played as Georgiana Cavendish as the tastemaker on The Duchess and Anna Karenina's character in the title socialite. In the contemporary dramas she played an aspiring music student in Begin Again (2012) and a Doctor on the set of Jack Ryan Shadow Recruit (2013). Knightley was back in historical movies as Joan Clarke in The Imitation Game (2014) and earned her a nomination for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress, and starred as the eponymous writer in Colette (2018).
